Hubpages Activated!

I finally put up my first hub on Hubpages.com.  It’s only my first and it wasn’t amazing, but I have to start somewhere.  My first hub is up, my Adsense account, Amazon Associates account, and Google Analytics account are all connected.  I also know for future hubs that I need at least 600 words to create a hub, according to the things I read.  Now my first hub is up and I know the structure and how hard it is.  Next comes my first lens on Squidoo, which will have to wait until next weekend.  My Etsy store is fully up, my other websites are in a good place, and my social media stuff is about halfway set up.  I realize this site isn’t fully set up, but I think I’m doing pretty well for building a foundation for 2012.  I’ve got some ideas in the works, but refusing to start them until I have more of my foundation built, and I’m pretty excited.  I may even make my first dollar online this month.  Yay!  That is one of my milestones and I can’t wait to hit it.  Unfortunately that’s all for tonight.  I need to get up really early tomorrow for work so it’s off to bed for me tonight but we’ll see what I can get done tomorrow.

Hello New Site!

Many of you probably don’t know this blog was on the WordPress.com before but you didn’t miss much.  I decided that since I have other sites where I can do my own marketing and ads and anything else I want, it made sense that my blog about making money online be on it’s own site as well.

Anyways, this site is not quite ready for the world as I need to create the home page and  tweak things here still but I have links coming in so I want something here.

Today I published two websites, a new FaceBook page, and a note on Facebook linking all my websites.  Yesterday I started my Etsy store and finished my blog posts for the new year.  Now I have my store online, six blogs/sites up, and about half of my FaceBook stuff ready for my sites.  I don’t have this site ready but I think that all in all this has been a productive holiday time and should be a great way to start the new year.  Here’s to hoping for a better year for everyone.
